From 2022 to 2024, I contributed to transforming the station's studio spaces, blending functionality and aesthetics to support the station's evolving needs. Highlights include the streaming studio for River City Live, a newsroom streaming set for station podcasts and branded shows, and the sports podcast room. Each space was thoughtfully designed and constructed in-house to enhance the station's storytelling and production capabilities.
In addition to these sets, I created a custom mural celebrating the station's rich history. This piece served as a second floor centerpiece, combining archival imagery with modern design elements to honor the station's legacy while inspiring its future.
Broadcast Studio Set Designs
(2022–2024)

This project showcases my contributions to designing and building versatile studio spaces for a broadcast station, enhancing their streaming capabilities and visual appeal.
OTT Studio for River City Live: Renovated office space into a dual-purpose streaming studio, enabling deeper guest interviews for the "show after the show." I led the cohesive design of two distinct sets and oversaw painting, construction, and assembly in-house.
Newsroom Streaming Set: Transformed an outdated weather studio into a multi-use set for branded station shows. My work included designing a mural, creating vinyl window elements, and customizing furniture to fit the station’s branding.
Sports Podcast Room: Supported the build-out and technical setup, ensuring optimal camera shots within the space.
These projects demonstrate my ability to balance design aesthetics with functional requirements, adapting to diverse broadcasting needs.
Station Timeline Gallery Mural
As part of my work enhancing the station's spaces, I designed and created a custom mural to celebrate WJXT's storied history. This mural was a tribute to the station’s legacy, blending archival photos, iconic moments, and modern design elements into a cohesive visual narrative.
The process began with research, delving into decades of the station’s achievements and its role in the community. I carefully curated imagery that reflected pivotal moments, key figures, and the evolution of broadcasting at WJXT. The design was tailored to seamlessly integrate these elements into a dynamic, eye-catching composition that honored the past while inspiring the future.
The mural became a centerpiece for the gallery space at the station, symbolizing pride in its history and commitment to innovation. It not only enriched the visual appeal of the space but also sparked conversations among staff and visitors, fostering a deeper connection to the station's mission and identity.
